Wico staff work with over 130 peers from around the world who have enthusiasm for education, a passion for learning, and an interest in teamwork.

As a Wico camp counselor you have a dual role: You live in a cabin with 6-12 campers and teach/coach in your activity area of expertise. Counselors are responsible for creating communities that are both fun and emotionally and physically safe. Counselors are role models, teachers, listeners, guides, mediators, coaches, cheerleaders, players, lesson-planners and confidantes. The responsibilities of a counselor can be compared to the job of a "working" parent.
