Can’t choose which Southern African country to explore first? See them all in just 26 days as you camp in the bush, volunteer on local projects, take a game drive, set off white water rafting and visit Victoria Falls.
Day 1 - 10
After touching down in Zambia and taking a wander around Livingstone, you’ll make your way to Mwandi Mission Village, where you will find yourself surrounded by a whole array of colourful local cultures and friendly people. The next 10 days will be spent getting back to basics and helping to build African style houses for the most needy in the community or assisting with teaching the local children.
Day 12 - 15
Continue your journey onto Botswana after a trip along the Zambezi River, a great opportunity to see Africa’s ‘four corners’ where Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia meet. You will get a real taste of the outdoors staying at the rural Elephant Sands Bush Camp, a 25,000 hector bush area, home to a range of game; you will have the option of taking a bush walk or game drive for an additional fee. Camp on the banks of the Chobe River before going on a game drive in Chobe National Park in open safari vehicle, you’ll learn all about the bush from your experienced guide and spot an array of wildlife.
Day 16 - 22
Drive through Namibia’s “Caprivi Strip” back to Mwandi for another few days spent at the Mwandi Mission, putting your English language skills and muscles to good use working within the local community.
