Work in close proximity with China’s rarest creature and help to save this amazing species from extinction. You’ll play an important role in Giant Panda conservation and take in the beautiful Qingling Mountains.
With an estimated 1,000 wild Giant Pandas left in the world, conservation is increasingly vital to keep the species alive. The reserve is home to an array of endangered creatures including Giant Pandas, Golden Monkeys, the Crested Ibis, the Takin and the Sika.
As a volunteer you will be working Monday to Friday between 6-8 hours each day; activities will include feeding the animals and cleaning their enclosures , as well as helping out with maintenance at the reserve. Though you will be working in close proximity to the pandas, it is important to note that you will not have direct contact with adult pandas as they have not been raised to have human contact.
