Work with orphans and disabled people on the stunning island of Bali, you can use your skills to help the local community assisting with formal learning, conversation classes, games, songs and story-telling.
You can help underprivileged children in Bali to gain a better education and to escape a life of poverty, as well as caring for disabled children at the weekends.
You will work at the project for 5 days out of 7, with 2 days off on a flexible basis; at weekends or in the week. Your average working day will be for 4 hours with 2 hours teaching in the afternoon, don’t forget that you’ll need to make time around this to plan your lessons and get ready to teach!
Your main role will be to make learning as fun as possible, so teaching methods will be varied; formal learning using textbooks, conversation classes, games, songs and story-telling. You’ll also lend a hand developing creative and computer skills, with additional opportunities to take the young ones on outings.

Trip prices vary depending on activity and duration. Our volunteer projects start from £499, Adventures start from £699 and Tours start from £599. All trips include accommodation, most meals, an airport pickup, in-country orientation, support in-country and 24 hour emergency support. Our expert advisers will guide you through everything you need right up until your departure and are always available to help once you are away!
No specific requirements or qualifications are necessary, just a sense of adventure, a desire to make a difference and a responsible attitude towards the destinations you visit.
