Gain a deeper understanding of the local culture and work on your Spanish skills in Costa Rica. You’ll master the basics with the help of expert tutors and practice your new skills as you explore the sights of Heredia!

Prepare for a unique cultural experience where you’ll get a real taste of life in Costa Rica, living with a local family as you get to grips with Spanish! One to one classes are held from Monday to Friday starting at 8am and finishing at 12am with a 20 minute break, the rest of the day will be yours to spend exploring or taking part in the range of optional activities, some of which include:

• Latin dance classes (Tuesdays from 15:00-16:45)
• Cooking classes (Wednesdays from 15:00-16:45)
• Tropical Fruits Lessons (Thursdays from 15:00-16:45) to learn the names and taste some of the exquisite tropical fruits Costa Rica has to offer.

Volunteering starts from £299 for 1 week, up to 8 weeks for £1,699. Includes: accommodation, some food, transfers, support and back up in-country and 24/7 emergency contact numbers. Requirements

There are no specific qualifications or requirements needed to take part on this trip. We do however require that all travellers have a sense responsibility for other travellers, project staff and local community and most importantly... a sense of fun and adventure!
