Klub Group Adventure started 23 years ago and offers residential holiday and day camps for children aged 6-16 years. Every year we send kiwis to the UK to work with them as Activity Supervisors. The role provides excellent work experience in outdoor/indoor activity guiding as well as taking care of kids and leadership.
As an Activity Supervisor you will live at a Klub Group centre which are set amongst historic buildings in the stunning English countryside.
Supervisors receive a salary plus discounted food and accommodation throughout the contract. Once the contract ends you are free to live and work in the UK for the remainder of your working holiday visa and we will help you out with job contacts and job hunting resources.
Your Role
The role involves teaching and supervising kids in a range of activities, plus being a mentor and a friend to the kids. Full training and induction is included so you don't have to have any qualifications beforehand.
Working as an Activity Supervisor is an extremely rewarding experience. You will have the chance to teach and receive further training on a range of amazing activities including:
* abseiling
* kayaking
* quad-biking
* archery
* raft building
* tennis
* arts & crafts
* dance & drama
* campfires & more
8 week job contract with Kids Club and then assistance finding employment for the rest of the duration of your trip.
You will be expected to arrive in the UK begin July for your placement at Kids Club.
Wage
- Activity Supervisors will earn between £284.64/week for 21 year olds
- Activity Supervisors will earn between £236.16/week for 18 year olds
- Cleaners and Kitchen Staff will earn between £193-£232/week
To be eligible you must:
* have experience working with children
* be energetic, tolerant, adaptable, willing to work hard,
concientious, cheerful, and physically able to do the job
* be able to live within Klub Group Adventure rules such as curfews
and limitations on alcohol consumption and smoking
* be available to leave for the UK in late June and prepared to
commit to work for Klub Group Adventure for at least 10 weeks
* feel at home in an open air, active, outdoor environment
You must also be eligible to work in the UK:
For New Zealand passport-holders this means that you must be between the ages of 18 and 30 (inclusive) and can apply for the two year Youth Mobility Scheme.
