On the Work Canada Job Fair program you are guaranteed a job at a Canadian ski resort or you get your money back!
If you dream about a winter working in Canada, playing on the slopes, and would love a job sorted before you leave, then Work Canada Job Fair is for you.
Every year IEP brings Canadian Ski employers to New Zealand to hire kiwis on the spot. If you do not get a job offer by the end of the interviews you will get your money back!
Not only do you get a gaurenteed job in Canada, but you will receive our full support program. Upon arrival to Canada you will attend an orientation at our partners office where they will go over how to find work and accommodation, cv format, assist in obtaining a tax file number and bank account, tax and employment laws, travel, transportation, mobile plans and more! You will have access to up to date job and accommodation listings as well as computers, internet, fax machines, printers all to assist you in your searches. There are social events i.e. pub crawls, soccer games, and weekend excursions. In case of emergency there is a 24 hour phone number. The staff is there to provide support and guidance the entire duration of your trip! After you complete the orientation you will head off to your mountain resort to start work!
Once you finish your contract at the ski resort you will be able to use any of our three resources centres in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal to find work.
The New Zealand interview dates are July 31st and August 1st in Auckland. The jobs are for around 5 months starting from November or December
The Canadian Working Holiday Visa allows you to work for 12 months. The job contract from the ski employers will be for 5 months. After you complete the contract you can use any of the inbound centers to find employment.
Contracts usually start in November.
