MondoChallenge offers voluntary work in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. Our volunteer work abroad supports charities and NGOs in developing communities, giving volunteers an opportunity to do something meaningful on their career break abroad.

Duration / Dates

Career break volunteer projects generally last from one month upwards, although volunteers wishing to make a serious contribution may wish to consider staying three months or more. We also offer shorter term voluntary programmes for school teachers and those with limited annual leave. Please contact our career break team for more details.

MondoChallenge offers volunteer teaching projects in locations ranging from rural Tanzania to inner city slums in India, where volunteers can teach English, maths and science, arts and crafts, music or sport.
