If you want to experience working and travelling abroad but don’t want to make the first step on your own then this placement is perfect for you. You will join an instant group of friends and be shown around the city, getting all the insider local knowledge that you’ll need.

How does it work?

For two weeks you will stay in a hostel right in Bondi where you will be given full support throughout the two week period with applying for and having interviews for jobs in retail, hospitality, vineyards or offices. Along with looking for Employment you have plenty of time to see the very best of Sydney.

What is included?

- Support finding a job and accommodation
- A trip to Darling Harbour, a hub of activity in the city.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol course, great to put on your CV and essential for working in the hospitality industry in Australia.
- ‘The Famous Bondi to Coogie Walk’, coastal views and swimming all along the coast
- Beach Sports day followed by a BBQ on the hostels roof terrace.
- Surf Lessons on Bondi Beach
- Blue Mountain trip, spectacular scenery and national parks
- Canoe trip to paddle around the beautiful coves and beaches of Sydney

What will I get paid?

The pay is pretty good, with wages around $15 per hour if you have no experience, up to around $25 per hour for those with relevant skills.

£1300 (excluding flights)

Support is provided throughout with a UK preparation course. We include dedicated help in finding you a job, your Medicare, bank account, tax file number and phone cards sorted for you. Further to this we also include airport pickup and the first 14 nights in a hostel including breakfast and 2 dinners during the job training course.
