Get to grips with Spanish and try a real slice of Latin American life in Ecuador! You’ll work on your linguistics with expert tuition and put your new skills into practice exploring the sights of Ecuador!

The ideal introduction to life in the Americas, this programme will teach you all of the basics you’ll need. You’ll work in small classes of four or less and you can choose which area of language you’d like to emphasise; conversation, comprehension or writing. Classes run for 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday, either from 08:30-12:30am or from 13:00-17:00pm, whichever suits you best!

The classes are designed to be fun, varied and interactive and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get outside the classroom and practice what you’ve learnt with group visits to museums, the local market or just for a wander around the neighbourhood.

Once you’re feeling confident enough to explore, our coordinators will be happy to arrange tours and activities for the group or fill you in on the local hotspots. There will also be lots of cultural activities that you can opt to join in with too!

Real Gap Experience offer gap years, career breaks and adventure travel from 2 weeks to 2 years with weekly/monthly departures for most trips that aren’t dependant on seasons or weather to operate. Set departure dates means you’re always together with other young like-minded travellers and making new friends is guaranteed.

Costs / Benefits

Prices range depending on activity and duration. Volunteering starts from £389 for 2 weeks, Adventure Travel starts from £799 for 2 weeks and our Paid Work options start from £299 for up to 12 months. All trips come with, accommodation, some food, transfers, support and back up in-country and 24/7 emergency contact numbers. Requirements

There are no specific qualifications or requirements needed to take part on this trip. We do however require that all travellers have a sense responsibility for other travellers, project staff and local community and most importantly... a sense of fun and adventure!
