Based just outside stunning Surin, you can give children a safe refuge and a better education working across local childcare centres. A great way to help impoverished youngsters and experience Thai culture!

This project gives you the opportunity to make a real impact in one of Thailand’s most impoverished districts. You will be working from Monday to Thursday starting at around 8 am and finishing mid afternoon, with weekends free to travel and take in as much as you can of Thailand.

We work with a number of childcare centres across the area helping parents who struggle to find a safe and secure environment for their pre-school children. Each centre cares for around 50 youngsters aged up to 4 years old.

Your role is focused on providing whatever the little ones need, you’ll get involved with a range of activities from teaching and playing with the children to getting their lunch ready and just being there for a cuddle! You will also be able to help out with much-needed maintenance on the centres themselves, if you have practical or creative skills, renovation, repair and decorating are all waiting for you!

Costs / Benefits

Prices range depending on activity and duration. Volunteering starts from £389 for 2 weeks, Adventure Travel starts from £799 for 2 weeks and our Paid Work options start from £299 for up to 12 months. All trips come with, accommodation, some food, transfers, support and back up in-country and 24/7 emergency contact numbers. Requirements

There are no specific qualifications or requirements needed to take part on this trip. We do however require that all travellers have a sense responsibility for other travellers, project staff and local community and most importantly... a sense of fun and adventure!
