Immerse yourself in the beautiful French region of Montpellier learning the French language and culture while teaching English to your host family.

Language Assistant France is a cultural exchange programme, where you live with a host family and in exchange for your own room and three meals a day, you help the family, usually the kids, with their English studies for around 15 hours during the week. In general, the families are quite affluent; you're looked after very well in lovely family homes.

Requirements

- Minimum age 18 yrs.
- Formal teaching qualifications are not necessary, but any experience will strengthen your application.
- You are not required to speak French but this is the perfect chance to learn.
- Please understand that your admittance onto the Language Assistant France programme ultimately depends on you being accepted by a French host family.

- We accept all applicants for our Language Assistant programmes. However, please be aware that many host families prefer native English speakers* (i.e. those from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand)
