Travel to Thailand and volunteer with a local community.

This volunteer in Thailand programme lets you take in the sights and culture this wonderful country has to offer. You will be jungle trekking, elephant riding and bamboo rafting, before jumping into a true adventure by volunteering in a Thai remote village.

When staying in the village you will be living with a family and be able to witness their way of living and their closeness to nature.

This volunteer in Thailand programme involves assisting local teachers who dedicate themselves to giving an education to poor Thai and hill-tribe children.

Duration

You can join the programme daily with no minimum number and a maximum of 6 persons. Best days to depart are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. If you are on the programme during the school holidays you will be teaching English to the local village children or assigned to other voluntary activities or even to other projects rather than this school/classroom environment. Programme duration is two weeks and you can extend your stay by a week. Requirements

Minimum age: 18 years old
Basic command of spoken English is essential
You do not need any formal training or experience to participate but whatever experience you do have will be taken into account when arranging your day-to-day activities
Volunteers need to be independent, enthusiastic and adaptable, hard working, with an open-minded attitude and specially with a great sense of humor
International volunteers are welcome
