Asia Gap Year: Adventure Holiday, Travel Ideas & Tours
On a gap year in Asia a lot of people fly into Thailand and then head North for adventure and trekking, or head South for beautiful islands and beaches.
There are lots of rewarding gap year volunteer programs in Asia. These include animal welfare retreat projects for example volunteering with elephants in Thailand. A structured gap year in Asia can include teaching English in Asia, educational community programs, work placements or internships which is a great way to get involved with the local population.
There are also a wide range of gap year jobs in Asia. You could even go on a gap year tour in Asia and visit some of the famous tourist attractions like Angkor Watt in Cambodia, Ha'long Bay in Vietnam or the great wall of China.
