Brush up on a language course or learning more than just the casual basics enables you to get the most out of travelling.
Learn some basic language phrases and this might encourage you to practice your linguistic skills and maybe take a language course to get more fluent. Travelling in foreign language countries is easier and more enjoyable when you can speak some of the local dialect. Being able to converse with native people, even if it is just basic phrases will improve your experience.
