Gap Year Scuba Diving Courses and Internships in Asia

Diving is not just something you will do for a few months before you go to university, it is something that will change your life forever. Even if you never work as a Divemaster or Instructor, for the rest of your life you will define yourself as a PADI Dive Professional. The program for GAP year students

The TSD Internship program is ideally suited to GAP year students. Let us help you with all your preparations. We can give you advice on flights, how to get here, what to expect in the Philippines, and help you if you have never been to Asia before.

We are aware that as GAP year students, this may be the first time you have traveled abroad on your own. We are available to help with any questions or problems you may have. All you need to do is book the flights and we will do the rest. We will meet you at the airport, bring you directly to the island and make sure you are settled in your accommodation. The package includes most things that you will need, so just bring some extra money for food and miscellaneous items. English is widely spoken everywhere, so you will not have to worry about communicating with the locals. If you are worried about safety, don't be. The Philippines is a very safe country. Zero to Hero

Our program is the ultimate Zero To Hero program. In as little as two months we will take you from a non-diver to a certified PADI divemaster. You can then continue to do your instructor course. Already a certified diver? No problem, we will just deduct that from your package.

Mermaids Dive Center in Pattaya is a PADI Career Development Center (PADI CDC). The first dive center all of the way from Bangkok to Cambodia to have been awarded this prestigious certification. Mermaids have 2 Platinum PADI Course Directors working full time at the Center.
