Oyster have partnered up with a Costa Rican charity which aims to protect turtles along the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. The charity campaigns strongly to change the legislation on industrial fishing, which so threatens the turtle population on this coastline. They work closely with communities too and with the turtles at a hands on level, patrolling the beaches at night time to collect the eggs that turtles lay, keeping them safe from predators and poachers, allowing them to hatch in a controlled environment and to be released in safety to the sea.

You can join this charity’s important mission, working as a group patrolling the beaches under the Milky Way, watching a fascinating creature – one of the oldest on this planet- to give life to future generations. When the eggs hatch, you will then release swarms of tiny baby turtles to the sea, to start their lives with a better chance.
