Win up to £1000 towards a BUNAC USA or Canada Gap Year Programme!

Want to spend a few months camping under the stars at the Grand Canyon on Volunteer USA or a year working in Canada? How about a summer living the American Dream on KAMP USA, Work America or Summer Camp USA?

BUNAC are giving three people the chance to win up to £1000 to take part in any one of BUNAC's North American programmes with BUNAC's Howard Crew Awards!

Grab your thinking cap and start flexing your creative muscles!

Simply submit an original and humorous piece of writing on a travel related topic and you could be jetting across the Atlantic to live it up in the US or Canada! Don’t worry if you’ve already booked and paid for your place on a 2011 programme, BUNAC will reimburse you up to £1000 towards programme costs.

Your entry can be anything up to 1500 words in length and remember, imagination and wit is the key!

Submit your entry along with your contact details, university (if applicable) and the name of the BUNAC programme you would like to participate in to: scholarships@bunac.org.uk. Closing date for entries is 11th February 2011. Winners will be notified before the end of February 2011. The value of the prize cannot be taken in cash or credited to any other use.
