Gap Year Scuba Diving at the Worlds Best Dive Center

Utila Dive Center was voted the best dive center in the world 2010 and this year they have 100% Success at PADI Instructor courses in the beautiful Bay Islands, Honduras. Take a gap year scuba course and train to be a PADI Divemaster or Instructor in Utila!

This will be a Spring to remember for Utila Dive Centers March PADI IDC candidates, congratulations to all their PADI Scuba Instructor candidates and IDC staff from Utila, at the completion of the PADI Instructor Exams on Utila celebrating their 100% success and continuing the outstanding success in 2011.

Once again Utila Dive Center candidates excelled from our dedicated personalised Instruction, and showed there is a difference with the preparation work and training by Our GoPro staff, PADI Course Directors Andy Phillips and Suzy Phipps and with support from IDC Staff Instructors Maddy Thiebauld, Simon Livingston, and Sandy Epitaux who excelled in preparing and training candidates who came from afar as the UK, the USA, Greece, Norway, Malaysia, Australia, Canada, Switzerland and locally Honduras, and seeing them through one of the best chapters in their dive careers.

Candidates are now going on to complete the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer program with scuba internship and qualify with our facility as 'Beautiful Oceans Science Instructors' and PADI Sidemount Instructors, and to work in the dive industry throughout the Bay Islands, Mexico, Caribbean and Central America with assistance from Utila Dive Center's job placement service.

To date in 2010 and 2011 more Instructor candidates had chosen UDC as the PADI Career Development Center to take their PADI Scuba Instructor course, more than any other facility in Central America, based on Utila Dive Center's great reputation (they have been called the Harvard of professional scuba Instruction!), the Platinum Course Directors experience, word of mouth, training programs, comprehensive curriculum, broadest range of con-ed options and all with unmatched and guaranteed success at the exams and more importantly in the the dive industry.
