Volunteer on gap year conservation projects abroad! This can be a very rewarding experience, you could work or volunteer to protect biodiversity, conserve natural habitats, help endangered animals or assist environmental projects. On gap year marine and animal conservation projects you can help to preserve whales, dolphins and sea turtles. You can also help NGO's as part of research projects to protect marine mammals and coral reefs on a gap year overseas.

Conservation tours which incorporate animal welfare, community development and gap year conservation projects are very popular. On a career break you could get involved with conservation tourism, environmental conservation, youth conservation and travel volunteer projects.
